We’re excited to announce Brooklynites Total Slacker will be hitting the stage (as the kids say) on April 20th, 2016. They are supported by a ragamuffin clan of bands that will make you question your sanity, they are The Unders, Heavy Flow, The Rizzos, Cheek Sweat.
This event will take place on the second-floor stage at The Gateway in Brooklyn (1272 Broadway Ave.). Door will open at 8:00 PM, music will start promptly at 9:00 PM, and run until approximately 1:00 AM. The event is 21+, and requires an $8 cover charge.
This show marks the first time that any of the previously mentioned bands have played together under one roof. Brooklyn-based indie shoegazers, Total Slacker are headlining and bringing their musically overt and weird sense of humor to the stage. With the perfect name for this great holiday and music to match, you won’t be disappointed. Sonic rock n’ rollers, The Unders are bringing their danceable tunes. Heavy Flow, a heavy, yet smooth garage blues duo from New Jersey. The groovy bass lines and nonchalant vocals of The Rizzos will also be filling up the venue. Last but not least, Brother and sister face melting duo, Cheek Sweat, just released their self-titled EP online and do what they do best…destroying my ear drums.
